OnMap (T2GE) is an open location base social and public information publishing and sharing application. Users can: • share and collect local real time driving condition, such as photo camera, traffic jam, construction zone, without distracted driving issue as well as share them on twitter; • share and collect local gas station location and price; • share local speed limit zone, such as school zone, play ground; • share community event or yard sale information as well as share them on twitter; • share any type local news as well as share them on twitter. For posting some types of local news and community event, user needs to log into T2GE mobile app user account or create a new user account if user does not have one. Posting real time local traffic information and some types of local news do not require user account. Users can search, display various local information on the map base user interface. When user publishes a message, user can select message type from the publishing popover UI menu item, and then select location for posting with various methods by this app; then edit the message detail and then post the message on T2GE online service and the message is available to all other T2GE users. For posting local traffic information, user may not need to add any detail information. Currently user only can post local information, cannot post information on the location not in local area. When user search message, first user select the search type from the searching popover menu item, then start to search related information. When the searching result is available, the map pins representing the searching items will display on the map. When you click the pin, then a popover list is shown with brief information of the searching item; if user clicks the popover item, then a content interface will display with detail of searching message. User can search and read any available information in any location around world. User also can enable auto-load feature to automatically search selected type periodically, such as auto updating real time local traffic information etc. User can synchronize their posting on Twitter and also related information can be searched and displayed on map.
