OTG Time Forefront at Mac App Store analyse

This is the Forefront edition of Aderant On the Go Time (OTG Time). It showcases the latest innovations for On the Go Time, allowing you access to the latest release ahead of the Aderant Expert release cycle. For the Standard edition (synchronized with Aderant Expert release) please see Expert On the Go Time. With a refreshed look and user interface, the three views have been reorganized and renamed, and time entries have an easy to use swipe menu for actions. One of the new menu options also means you are now able to release time entries from OTG Time. The Stats view has become Totals with a visual overview of daily information including a graph of time for the day color coded by status, as well as access to a list of entries grouped by status. It is now possible to see all the Draft time entries still to be submitted on the Totals tab. On the Matters tab you see Clients/Matters and their time entries for the past 60 days and now allows you to search for any Client/Matter. As of iOS 9, Apple introduced changes to AppTransportSecurity and now enforces best practices by default. When running the Forefront application on iOS9+ AppTransportSecurity is enabled, for some clients this will mean their SSL certificates will require upgrading to meet TLS 1.2 requirements, which are SSL certificates signed with SHA-256 instead of SHA-1. If your current SSL certificate is not TLS 1.2 compliant, you will need to obtain a new compliant certificate for your server and install it in IIS. This applies to both internal and external access to the server. The Standard edition of On the Go Time does not have this enabled by default, so only requires TLS 1.1. Overall performance improvements mean faster load times every step of the way. As the Forefront edition gets updated on a different timeline to Aderant Expert releases, you may find that the On the Go Time web application is significantly different from the Forefront or even Standard mobile application. The Forefront edition will work with all Expert releases with On the Go Services (8.0 SP1 upwards), but your Expert system must be configured to allow use of Forefront.
