Description
The Our High River app is a smartphone-based tool for alerting groups, rallying teams, and informing communities.
The app provides updates on town events, community projects, and key information for surge and spontaneous volunteers.
Our High River aims to enhance community capacity – and therefore resilience – by providing a communication system that High River’s community leaders can use all of the time and in crisis situations.
The app was made possible by Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), through the Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP). BCIP is an initiative to promote Canada’s economic growth and to bolster innovation in Canada’s business sector.
