p3 calculator is a must-have tool for everyone involved in printing industry. It allows easy and quick calculations and unit conversions which are commonly needed. p3 calculator is designed to be used within commercial print, pressure sensitive labels and flexible packaging sub-sectors of the print industry.
The p3 calculator app is divided in separate sections for different product categories.
Commercial printing:
- ISO and US/ANSI paper sizes
- Basic paper calculations – thickness, basis weight, bulk, density
- Paper material calculations
Labels:
- Basic calculations – thickness, density, basis weight
- Die height calculations for paper and filmic liners in Pressure Sensitive Labels
- Roll measurements – length, outside diameter
- Label calculations
Flexible Packaging:
- Basic calculations – thickness, density, basis weight
- Roll measurements – length, outside diameter
- Weight of a laminate calculations
- Calculate approximate barrier properties of multi-layer laminates
- Calculate and compare prices of materials with different basis weight/ thickness
