Description

PathCare for iPod, iPhone and iPad provides an application that delivers laboratory results to doctors iPhones and iPads. Results are downloaded to the app so they can be viewed in areas where cellular/wireless communications are restricted. The app provides results from laboratory specimens as they become available and also provides trends based on historical results. Doctors patient notes can be made and stored in the app. A powerful search facility makes it easy for doctors to look up patient information. The app utilizes Apples notification system, which means that as soon as results become available a notification is sent through to the device. Nice: Quick results, especially the urgent ones. Very readable. Enabling emailing results excellent idea. Not so nice: No audible alert when new results available. No option to choose date range for results. No option to clear old, already read results.
