Misinformation
People reporting that Apple Pay works at a specific location seem to have great imaginations or are having fun with spreading misinformation. I tried 2 different locations reported as having Apple Pay compatibility and they did NOT have any such thing. So take a location that is not supporting Apple Pay officially, but is on the list of Apple Pay locations on this app, with A BIG grain of salt. And I think lack of support for Canada on this app, needs to be addressed. It rejected my first attempt at creating a login, because the email address was a .ca. Had to use another of my email addresses. I am in Florida for the Winter, so I have a valid reason to use this app. The concept is good, but the app needs some improvements.
Great Idea - Horrible App
Slow to open. Almost nowhere has a proper address. Pins in the wrong spots. Cant add or edit a place unless youre right by it (wanted to edit two places I visited earlier in the day). Just very broken...
Crashes
Good idea. However it crashes and crashes. Terrible app. Sadly.
Ehhh...
It seems like it could be a great app, but Im not sure how to use it. Does every store listed take Apple Pay? Some of the stores Im seeing are not listed on Apples website. The last thing o want to do is hold my phone near the terminal and look like an idiot.
Dim Witted, incomprehensible and Frustrating
To begin the user interface is very confusing a problem exacerbated by the complete lack of any instructions or information on the specific function of the various buttons and controls aside from the cryptic symbols that represent them. This makes navigating the app and getting the information youre interested in, very complicated, tedious and frustrating. These things in addition to the high probability that when using the app many people will be out, in their cars and quite possibly under a time constraint (such as looking for a place to eat on ones lunch break) all add up to an app thats more trouble than its worth and in my experience youre better off getting a list of all the businesses that accept Apple Pay from Google and then simply searching which of those happen to be around you... Good concept but far from being complete
Great Big Fat Nope
Downloaded this app on a recommendation from a random customer service rep at BofA. Fortunately it was on WiFi and not via cellular data. This app has a dated interface (read "huge buttons") and bizarre navigation. It showed half a dozen icons within a 2 block radius for the same establishment/address. Not very good execution and certainly not worth the time.
