Description
PC-biz is the name of the application which is used by participants and followers of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). It is the primary way that elected commissioners and advisory delegates access, read and follow assembly business. The system is also utilized by other interested parties (staff, observers, press, etc.) to monitor assembly business whether onsite at the meeting or from their home or office over the Internet.
Why use PC-biz? The primary reason is that it allows us to be better stewards of our natural resources, finances and information. The app offers the ability to easily follow business during the assembly with a feature known as SessionSync and offers the ability to provide offline viewing of current assembly business when the user does not have internet connection. Other key benefits that this application provides are access to assembly information; more time available to spend on critical issues and less on cumbersome paperwork; electronic tracking of all adopted amendments, and real-time updates of assembly business.
