PDFpen is great!
Awesome... When it works
This is an awesome tool when it works but that is way too infrequent! I cant even get through one page of filling out before it crashes and I have to start over. It is, unfortunately, easier to print, write in answers and scan than to put up with this stuff which makes me sad when it has such potential and has been better in the past.
waste of money
It was the most expensive pdf app out there and supposedly it was supporting url links to open specific pages in the pdf I ignored all its deficiencies compared with other programs (poor highlighting quality, no sepia or night view etc) in order to get the url functionality, but guess what, this url functionality is not working...
Still disappointed
This app is buggy and slow. Its predecessor was the same way. I am disappointed that Smile charged for this update after the first version had so many problems. Pdfpen 2 is no different in this regard. In theory, it is a powerful pdf management tool. In practice, it is slow to sync, not designed as logically as some of the competition, and too expensive. Unfathomable how Smile can make TextExpander, which is so indispensable, and also charge money for this buggy app, especially considering that the competition is so good (and cheap. PDF Viewer sets the standard for iOS pdf apps and is free)
Too old and buggy
I got this mainly to join multiple PDFs into a single file. Unfortunately this crashes every single time rendering this an expensive and useless app. Would love a refund...
Keeps crashing
There are certain features not available with other like apps. Some of those features put it above the rest. However, the app continues to crash. I have to back out of it often to make sure my changes are saved.
