Pearly is an innovative citizen engagement mobile app designed to empower the public of Barbados. With Pearly, users can easily report local issues such as potholes, water shortages, or other public concerns directly through the app. The issues are automatically forwarded to the relevant government agencies, including the Prime Minister’s Office, for review. For example, if a pothole is reported, it’s tagged for the Ministry of Transport and Works. Users can add a title, description, images or videos, and the exact location of the issue, making it easier for authorities to take action swiftly. Pearly connects citizens to the government in a simple, efficient way to drive positive change across the country.
