I scanned through so many apps before I found this one. Im so glad I took a chance on it. Its well worth a couple bucks. The colors are beautiful and you can email the color palettes you come up with (and their hex #s!!). It even offers a web-safe color palette. Thank you for this nicely executed and useful app.
Well designed, professional quality color palette app
Scanned through a lot, checked out a few and stayed with this one. As a designer this has proven to be an invaluable assistent to me with everything that involves colors.
Acceptable, but improvement is needed
This is a basic app that shows you potentially matching colors. Its quick and easy to use. Yet, if you are hoping to use this app in a professional environment, you might be quite disappointed. Heres why: - You cannot enter a specific color to use. (This is a huge limitation for digital designers.) Instead, you have to use a color wheel to find a "similar" color, hoping the end results arent too far off. - You can color match from a picture, but it really would be far more helpful to be able to point the camera to a subject and immediately select the desired color without all of the manual switching back-and-forth between apps. Just doesnt have a professional look or feel to the workflow, nor is it efficient to do so. In summary, its a basic color wheel with limited abilities. It really should .99 cents at most for what youre really getting with this app.
Needs work
Can only use existing photos – cant invoke camera from within app. Color selector cursor doesnt sample where you point it. Its often sampling from far away and so its very hard to find the color you want.
Oooh
Ooooh. Shiny!
Blows me away
Some of you reviewers need to actually use the app before you write a review. This app has it all. It blows all the other color theory / palette apps out of the water. Worth every penny. This app looks great on iPhone 5. Really functional and fluid controls. Thanks devs. Great job.
Kuler in your pocket!
Its like having Adobe Kuler in your pocket with the addition of being able to extract colors from real life.
