**** THIS SOFTWARE IS NOT FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH OSX-MAVERICKS YET, WERE CURRENTLY WORKING ON A SOLUTION ****

Photo Search will provide you with search capabilities covering all your image metadata. This includes searching on
- File names
- Folder Names
- Keywords
- Descriptions
- Author names
- any other details as stored in your images metadata

The intuitive to use text search box allows you to make all possible combinations in a way that is comparable with your favorite search engine. This includes joined searches with "+", exclude searches with "-", and exact matches by putting the search term in double quotes.

Search results are displayed as thumbnails and allow you to open the found photos in the Finder or in your default photo application.

MacDesktop,
There are only "can nots" instead of "cans"

1. You cannot choose all folders you want to search for fotos at once. You have to add each folder seperately to the search. 120 Folders -> 120 times adding folders. 2. You have no obvious option for searching for metadata. You can only search for names of the pictures and you have no clue what critiria the software uses for the search. 3. It is nowhere visible which search critia you could apply or the one you have chosen. I payed for that? Seriosly guys. Before you write things in your advertisement: "intuitive & search through all your metadata"… Think about what you are offering.

how do you turn it off

I just bought this, there are no directions and now it is taking up the desktop and I cant turn it off or shut it down what a piece of crap

Does not work at all - avoid it!

Agree with DocWally - doesnt work, have to reboot to remove it from the middle of my screen. Running on 10.6.8. There is no support on the support page. Should be removed from the AppStore.

Cannot even find the file name. The NAME!

I thought this might be more efficient than using Finder to search for embedded metadata. The photo below has metadata that I know for certain is exported along with the photo (Aperture 3) and is among the metadata this program claims to search. Mac 10.7.5 folder1>folder2>PhotoFileName.jpeg searched folder1 for IPTC metadata in PhotoFileName.jpeg: NO RESULTS searched folder2 for IPTC metadata in PhotoFileName.jpeg: NO RESULTS searched both folders again for the file name itself: NO RESULTS I would have paid this programmer 99 cents to warn me that Id be wasting time trying to use it.
