Pieces will join files ending in .001, .002 etc to make the original, and it can split large files of any type (including documents, pictures, movie files, music files etc) into a set of smaller pieces for easier distribution (e.g. via email, internet or multiple CD/DVD disks). (whoever receives the split files will need to join them back together with this app). - You will need the speech software installed to use the speech alert.
