Pinyin Pro is a tool designed to help none Chinese speaking people learn the pronunciation of pinyin and convert any Chinese character to pinyin. FEATURES 1 Group pinyin syllables according to initial(consonant). 2 Group pinyin syllables according to final(vowel). 3 You can search a Pinyin syllable you want to learn from all 408 syllabes quickly 4 You can convert any Chinese character to it’s pinyin syllable. Now support 20,902 Chinese characters including both Simple Chinese character and Traditional Chinese character. 5 High-quality voice files, All recorded by Chinese language teachers. 6 To save your time,We delete a Pinyin syllable from table when there is no corresponding Chinese character. **NOTE:** Because all high-quality voice files(more than 1200) are available offline, this app is large. We highly recommend installing this app over Wi-Fi or through a wired connection.

Pronounces Pinyin well... good accent

Big app, 13.9MB. Very spare interface, neatly organizes words by their initial or final sounds, and pronounces very clearly (male voice) each of the four tones. Have been looking for this function! I am disappointed that the character doesnt appear (simplified or traditional), but to those of us who find Pinyin unintuitive, its great to have a reference speaker always at your fingertips. I would like to also have the characters cross referenced too. With the character support this would easily be a 5-star app.

A must-have for beginning students

This app is awesome for beginning students. I am in an intro mandarin class at UGA and have found this to be very helpful is study for listening quizes (being able to recognize and write initials, finals, and compounds by sound). Very affordable too!
