Description
One of the issues of greater complexity for skippers is to sail in high traffic places, along with boats of different types, of different lengths, that develop different activities (fishing, tow, dredges), etc. During the day or at night or with reduced visibility, different acoustic and luminous signals are used, in order to identify the type of boat, its activity / situation or the maneuvers to be carried out.
The acoustic devices are installed in the boats in order to alert the other boats about their presence, to inform the intentions of maneuver, the direction of advance and certain special characteristics so that, according to a correct identification, the maneuvers are facilitated tending to avoid collisions.
