Add GPX files on your computer and view them in PixTrack. • Retracing your route? Show previous tracklogs, or any GPX file, on the map as you record. • Dont want to use Dropbox? Logs can also be exported to other apps or iCloud Drive using standard iOS functionality. • Support for iPad - view synced tracklogs, or if you have a GPS-capable iPad use it instead of your phone to save your phones battery. • Support for multiple map providers: Choose from Google, Apple, or OpenStreetMap maps • Dashboard widget: Easily start and stop PixTrack from your homescreen PixTrack is the easiest way to take advantage of the build-in geotagging functionality in todays photo software. -- ADOBE LIGHTROOM CLASSIC: STEP-BY-STEP 1. Select the photos youd like to tag. Hint: Select All on the latest import works well. 2. Switch to the Map module. 3. Load the tracklog: Map menu > Tracklog > Load Tracklog... Your tracklogs are in your Dropbox folder: Dropbox > Apps > PixTrack 4. After your tracklog is loaded, choose: Map menu > Tracklog > Auto-Tag Photos 5. Thats It! -- Notes: • Lightroom tagging requires Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic (version 4/2012 or newer) for Windows or Mac. • Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Simply awesome app for GPS/GIS field work

Unimojo · 9 years ago · v2.0

I was looking for an app to help with GIS-based field research, and PixTrack is perfect. Really fast and simple to start and stop tracks, and easy upload to DropBox makes it a great tool to build a workflow around.

Looks Great (but not in China)

lfeagan · 9 years ago · v2.0

This app looks great, but it doesnt provide a choice of map providers like most serious tools, such as The Photographers Ephemeris, do. Thus the two star rating for failing to work in such a vast and populous region.

Wonderful simple and usefull app

Great stuff. I use it regularly to tag my photos. Crashes occasionally but I can live with that.

działanie programu

luc19_68 · 13 years ago · v1.0.0

Acias-67 · 13 years ago · v1.0.0

ciromattia · 12 years ago · v1.1

A really good geotagging app that works!

@travelfox · 13 years ago

Ive used this in several outings - even long trips. Left it running in the background for hours while I go about enjoying my trip and taking photos. One of those trips was actually on a boat and I was very surprised when I checked back hours later that its still working and tracking my location. It didnt crash on me, not even once, and it sent me a reminder after 3 hours that its still running, in case Ive forgotten. The app sent the info to my Dropbox after Im done and this was the icing on the cake. It made it very easy to tag my photos once I was on my desk uploading them to my computer.
