Copy as plain text right within your favourite apps!* Are you tired of pasting text into an app such as Mail, only to find that the text is too large or the wrong color? Using Plain Text Paste, you can now copy as plain text*, or remove formatting from the current clipboard content. All formatting (colors, fonts, and sizes) are automatically removed from the text in the clipboard. You can even view and edit the plain text currently in the clipboard! How it works (easy way): 1. Highlight text 2. Tap "Share..." if available (if not, use steps below) 3. Tap "Copy Plain Text"** 4. Paste the unformatted text into any app you wish Or (classic way): 1. Copy text from any app 2. Open Plain Text app (split view supported***) 3. The text in the clipboard is automatically converted to plain text 4. Paste the unformatted text into any app you wish Take control of your clipboard by viewing and editing text, and clearing all formatting using Plain Text Paste. Notes: * The "copy within app" feature is not available in all apps. Please use "classic way" instead (see above). ** First time use: At the bottom of the pop-up, tap "More" and then enable "Copy Plain Text" *** Word and character count available only in full-screen mode. Exactly what I needed. You copy something, say from your browser, and paste it into an email and--what the...? Its a mess of weird formatting and extraneous trash. This simple, inexpensive app offers you a plain text version of whatever is on your clipboard. You edit out the few odd characters and you are done. Just like "convert to plain text" in Texedit on a Mac.

Exactly what I was looking for. Please enable 90 and 180 degree rotation (landscape móde etc. )

One would think paste as text would be an iOS native feature but its not. This app fills that void.

I am so glad I found this little utility to do something I have needed complicated workarounds to accomplish, namely, the ability to paste anything in the clipboard in as Plain Text. Works great!
