PocketAudio (Microphone) can be used as an audio input device to Windows or Mac. Speak to your iOS device, and use Windows or Mac to capture or record the audio. Since PocketAudio works as a virtual audio device on the computer, you can use PocketAudio (Microphone) with any application that requires an audio input device, including Windows Live Messenger, Skype, AIM, Yahoo, etc. *** Please note that there is network delay between the computer and iOS device. Therefore, PocketAudio should not be used in situations where delay can be an issue. Instructions * If you have not already done so, download and install the PocketControl for Windows or Mac software from our website: http://www.senstic.com/iphone/PocketAudio/PocketAudio.aspx * On Windows, run PocketControl for Windows and make sure the SensticPocketService is running on your computer. On Mac, run PocketControl from the Mac applications folder. * Connect your iOS device to your home network using Wi-Fi. * Start PocketAudio on iPhone, and the app will automatically connect to your computer. The bottom of your iPhone screen should display "Connected to your_computer_name:port." * Configure your Windows/Mac program to use PocketAudio as your audio input device. Step by step instructions can be found at support page: http://www.senstic.com/iphone/PocketAudio/Support.aspx Limitations * Currently, PocketAudio supports Windows XP or above, Mac OS X 10.7 or above. Mac OS X 10.6 or earlier is not supported. * There is network delay between the computer and iOS device. Please do not expect real time transmission.

Huge delay ~5s, and not working with microphones plugged in the lightning port

Using a 5Ghz WiFi network, an iPhone 5 and a 2013 MacPro... 8.5 seconds of delay. Thats waaaay beyond acceptable. The developers website says: "Dont expect to be real time". Whats the point, then? Recording? I can do this on my iPhone. Bad choice!

Von der Aufnahmefunktion des iPhones war ich immer begeistert. Das Problem dieser App ist nicht etwa die Qualität des Sounds, oder die Empfindlichkeit. Da dieses System nur im Wi-FI funktioniert kommt es zu extremen Verzögerungen. Dazu kommt noch ein ständiger Hall. Ich hatte mich wirklich gefreut das iPhone als "gutes" Mikrophon zu benutzen. PocketAudio (Microphone) hat mich in dieser Hinsicht nur enttäuschen können.

Ich habe mir trotz der schlechten Bewertungen diese App mal angeschafft und kann mich den andere eigentlich nur anschließen. So ist die keine 1.59€ Wert! Die Übertragung ist extrem langsam und ich habe es bis jetzt noch nicht geschafft eine halbwegs stabile Verbindung herzustellen (alles ausprobiert, Adhoc, 300mbit Router). Sprachqualität ist zwar noch Ok aber die eigene Stimme bricht oft abrupt ab, und die Aufnahme wird so unverständlich! WENN KEIN UPDATE KOMMT KANN ICH NUR RATEN NICHT KAUFEN ES IST DAS GELD NICHT WERT!

Unfassbar das sowas angeboten wird.. wer verwendet sowas?? Die Verzögerung ist unzumutbar!

Mit iphone5 iOS 8.1 in Verbindung zu Mac mit OS X 10.10 hatte ich etwa 10 Sekunden (!!!) Verzögerung bei der Übertragung. Gute Idee, aber leider nicht zu gebrauchen, zumindest wenn man parallel Video dreht. Und nur dann braucht man ja ein Funkmikro...
