Description
Cognitas PocketID is an out-of-band (OOB) push notification authentication solution providing a variety of options to complement or replace passwords, allowing enterprises to implement password-less two-factor authentication. PocketID can be run in “decentralized mode” for decentralized authentication, protecting enterprises against backend data breaches, and helping enterprises meet privacy requirements of recent compliance regulations like the European GDPR, with a decentralized architecture that avoids centralized server-side credential repositories.
PocketID is integrated out of the box with popular web site infrastructure such as Apache and IIS, cloud services like Office
365 and SalesForce, Windows Hello for Windows 10 authentication, and any SAML or OpenID Connect-enabled app or service.
PocketID supports multiple provisioning options for convenience of adoption, including QR provisioning. Common support operations are provided “in-app”, helping reduce operational costs.
