Not what I expected
App is ok. Not what I expected. Needs some additional features.
POI is PoS
Junk and a waste of money. Doesnt work! Cant move the map.
Nearly useless
I bought this app intending to edit my GPS waypoints. I have nearly 1,000 points accumulated over more than 10 years, and I want to remove the ones that are no longer useful, merge duplicates, and rename the others to something more recognizable. (My first Garmin GPS allowed only 6-character names). While this app does allow one to do this, one can only map one waypoint at a time (with no name shown on the map). So instead of allowing one to look at a group of waypoints from an area and decide which are important, unimportant, and duplicative, one can only go through the waypoints one-by-one. If you want to maintain a set of GPS waypoints, you are better off using Garmins BaseCamp (free with Garmin GPS units) and/or Google Earth (free to all), both of which allow you to see multiple waypoints on a map at the same time. PS, other reviews state that there are bugs that make the program unusable ("map doesnt move")—I did not experience this in v. 1.6.2 + MacOS 10.7.
Not Mac Interface at all
I am getting my money back on this one…. First off the navigation of the map is buggy, cant use gesture to zoom have to click and plus and minus, and if you do a search it zooms you way back out and you have to psuh the plus button again, when you click on the area you want and hit drop pin, no pin occurs. You have to hit a different plus button, and then relocate it. Then once I had a POI created I did something on the map and it changed the coordinates, and I lost the address data I put in there, and had to start all over. Very buggy, dont believe this was the way it was intended to run especially if it was just updated for 10.9 and the program is 4+ years old.
