A poker run is an organized event where participants, usually using motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, boats, snowmobiles, horses, or other means of transportation must visit five checkpoints, drawing a playing card at each one. The object is to have the best poker hand at the end of the run. The event has a time limit, however the participants are not timed—winning is purely a matter of chance. The PokerRunLite game for iPhone is played similarly to a Poker Run, except that virtual cards are dealt automatically to your phone when you reach a designated checkpoint. At the end of the game, all of the hands will be scored and sorted by highest ranking category. Game play consists of the following steps: 1) Game Maker creates a game. 2) Game Maker invites players. 3) Players install app and load game. 4) Players meet at the designated start location on the start date and time. 5) A card is automatically dealt to a player when the player is within 100 feet of a designated location. 6) At the designated end time, all card hands will be revealed to each player and sorted by highest ranking category. PLEASE NOTE, The Lite version is limited to 3 players per game. Visit the app store and purchase the full version for unlimited game play.
