Black screen in the app fix can be done with downgrading the app. Search for Polaroid Cube+ app version 1.0.8 and this should work and do never update it again as the newest update from 2017 version 2.3.8 it's faulty. This however worked for me so you guys can try as well

Nice video from PeterPan just to simplify for other who won't to watch - in your iPhone WiFi settings, connect to the CUBE (+) WiFi and then choose (i) button on the right of the WiFi name. Type there DNS IP address manually same as the Router Address. Done. Use your CUBE App as usual then.

Ever since updating to iOS 10, Polaroid cube+ could no longer connect. I tried every possible solution and it has been weeks. I always use my cube for video and picture taking. I really hope something is being done soon because we are all impatient!
