Description
Ever wondered what the speed of an overtaking vehicle was? Finally, you can measure the speed of passing traffic just like the police Pilot system. It’s very easy to use and works both when you get overtaken in your car or on your bike.
Follow these simple instructions:
Start the measurement when the other vehicle passes you (even if you’re standing still).
Follow at your own pace and when the vehicle passes a stationary object (eg, bridge, road signs, intersection), press the Stop button - 1. When you pass the same object press Stop - 2. The other vehicles average speed is shown on the screen. (See the instructions for more details)
Speed can be displayed in mph or km / h.
This app uses GPS to measure distance so please ensure that signals reach the phone. The Police recommend a measuring distance of at least 1500 feet / 500 meters.
Always be careful in traffic, ask the passenger to take care of the measurement.
