Pool Volume calculators by NSPF. The Pool Volume Calculators app is designed for use by pool and spa professionals such as pool operators and pool technicians, as well as home pool owners. Navigation system uses central menu to access all calculators. User interface for easier data collections. Push buttons are big, display digits are easy to read. Knowing the pool volume is critical for pool operation and management. Chemical dosing, pool equipment operations and swimmer load management all depend on knowing what the volume of water in the pool or spa is. The application includes calculators for 5 different pool or spa shapes as well as tips how to calculate water volume in unusually shaped pools and spas. Pool Volume application will calculate water volume of rectangular, circular, oval, oblong or kidney shaped pools and spa. The rectangular shape calculator can calculate volume for Olympic size swimming pool. Application can be configured for US measures (feet, gallons) and for metric measures (meters, liters or cubic meters). The calculator will also calculate surface area and the volume in 1 inch or cm or water. Additionally, total water volume, volume in 1 inch or cm can be stored in the app for future reference. Application features easy to use graphical interface with graphical guides showing values user have to input for each calculation. Due to unevenness of pool constructions, corner bends, pool stairways, vertical variations, these calculations deviates from actual volume by +/- 5%. Calculations are rounded. All calculators are intended for calculating volume of large body of water. They are not well suited for calculations of small amount of water such as table aquariums or kitchen measurements.

Can I get my money back? Although the graphics are nice.... Try as I might the program would not calculate a volume, the one reason that this app exists. Complete waste of time and money. Buyer beware.

Do not use this app as a primary pool calculator when taking the NSPF CPO test. It will result in getting some answers wrong on the test. Use a regular standard calculator and do the old fashion way for the test. I would use this app only to check to see if I was in the ball park on everyday use. It is perfectly legal to use on the CPO test, easy to use, but it gets some of the answers wrong for their own test, not by much, but just enough off to steer you to the wrong answer. This app is far from perfected and should not be used when accuracy counts!
