This app is for people participating in the Connect Study, part of the PowerMom research program. The Connect Study is a clinical research study for new mothers.
The PowerMom Connect app aims to support the mental health of postpartum moms through a relational agent called Woebot. Woebot starts by asking you a simple question: how are you doing? Your answer starts a private conversation with Woebot. Whether youre feeling anxious, overwhelmed, mad, or just want to talk, Woebot adapts to give you what you need depending on how you’re feeling. You’re offered specific tools similar to the ones you might learn about in therapy with a person — tracking your mood, practicing new skills, or reviewing your progress over time. Some tools are specific to the postpartum experience and aim to support your mental health following birth.
