Works great but can only be used to type normal docs, i thought you could use it as a main keyboard instead of the Ipad keyboard but it can not be integrated. Would be great if you could use it as main keyboard.
Not an app for email
I was hoping to find an app that would allow predictive text like SwiftKey does. SwiftKey isnt made for iOS yet. Do NOT buy this app if that is what you are looking for. It is a stand-alone and does not directly integrate into your mail or texting.
Half-Baked
As a stand-alone app, it is almost there. Its lack of document deletion means you will have many unwanted docs. This is why it is half-baked. Come on, this is 2013. No deletion?
Garbage
Does not work at all for texting or general keyboard typing, only for typing documents within its own app.
Works well
Other reviewer is correct about using in its own app, but a simple copy select all will easily let you paste in email. I was considering returning iPhone for the droid system I was used to with predictive text and swype, but this app may make me tolerate keying on iPhone more. I can pick at letters for a text, but for an email Ill take the prediction.
Quite Impressive
I have been experimenting with Predictive Typer and I am quite impressed. The word suggestions are very accessible above the keyboards just like extra keys. Very fast word keys. I used it on my iPad and iPhone. Im glad I purchased it, despite some of the reviews which made it a difficult choice of whether to buy or not. I read some of the earlier reviews and some show a lack of understanding of the app and its interaction with the operating system. First, Typer is indeed an external app. You compose your text and then send it to message, email, other app etc. This is a MUST because Apple does not allow other keyboards to work directly with other apps. Because of iOS rules, you must work around this limitation by sending your text to other apps directly to message, email, or other app from within PredictiveTypeR, or just select all and copy, and then past into another app. It is not a big deal. Another review says that TypeR is "half baked" because one cannot delete a saved document. The reviewer is the one who is "half baked". Just read the directions...swipe your chosen document found in your document list, tap the document, and swipe left, its gone. My suggestion, purchase it if you are looking for an easier way to type...Five Stars!
