Prep & Pantry - Inventory Manager at Mac App Store analyse

I tried several pantry apps but Prep&Pantry is the best. Im using this app since about 6 months now. The developer is open for suggestions and reacts very fast.

Die App als solches ist nicht schlecht. Ich habe mich allerdings für die Vollversion entschieden, da ich die Sync-Funktion gerne genutzt hätte. Genau diese funktioniert leider nicht seit dem Kauf :-( das sind jetzt schon ein paar Wochen!! Die Website des Programmierers ist da auch nicht sehr hilfreich. Wer keine Synchronisation benötigt, dem kann ich die kostenlose light-Version empfehlen.

First off, this app is great. Simple to use, all the features you want and they work. If you live outside the US, which I do, you can change the UPC scanner database to work with your products. Everything that I have scanned comes up! You can add a picture to the item and tag it by category and put it in a specific location, ( Pantry, Cold room, garage, etc), also set expire date etc. The developer is actively updating the app and answered all of my questions about the app right away, which was really helpful. I have wasted money on many storage apps looking for one like this, too bad I did not come across this first! Great work!

This has become one of my favorite organizing type app that Ive used to date! I do wish however that there was some sort of link with the app & the UPC database. If your scanner doesnt read a particular barcode & you find it in the database, you still have to manually enter the barcode in the app. It would be fantastic if there was some sort of link where the info from the database gets transferred to the app. Another thing that I think would be extremely useful is that our manual entries be put directly into the app database for all of us to share. That way the app database will grow that much quicker!! I give this 5 stars.. It does take a lot of work in the beginning in order for your own database to be filled with the products that you use buy totally worth it! Thank you very much for creating it!

Just bought this app and Im loving it. It definitely will keep me organized with my food. Would love to be able to look up recipes with the food I already have.

I really like this app, just downloaded it and had a question for the app support. Got an email back within 2 hours from the designer of the app with really helpful information. This is a great app to inventory your household items and groceries, I will be saving a lot of money I know already! The cost of the app might frighten you but if you think of the duplicates you already buy when you have an impulse to buy something youll get that money back right away

I downloaded the lite version, played with it, even went to the developer site to read up on it a bit more, and then did the in-app purchase to Pro. Since I wanted to sync between two devices I downloaded it on the iPhone using the Purchased tab. Since I downloaded the already purchased Lite version, when I tried to set up synching, I was told I needed Pro so I did the Restore option. Still having sync problems trying to create a Group, I checked out Facebook to see if there was a group there. There was. And thats when I learned there is no support. Emails havent been answered since the update in early 2015. The sync has never worked, no one can create a Group. I decided to contact Apple to get my refund but before I could find time, I got the bill -- for two copies!! Ive been charged for the pro version on both the iPad and the iPhone. The developer must be laughing.
