Psalm 119 helps you recite Tehillim 119 in memory of a loved one — l'iluy nishmat.
Psalm 119 is the great acrostic psalm: eight verses for every letter of the Hebrew alphabet. By tradition, we honor the departed by reciting the verses whose opening letters spell out their Hebrew name, followed by the letters of the word נשמה ("neshama" — soul). This app builds that personalized selection for you in seconds.
HOW IT WORKS
• Enter the Hebrew name and the parent's name.
• Choose man or woman, and whether to include נשמה.
• Tap Generate — the app assembles the exact Psalm 119 verses that spell the name, each section headed by its highlighted letter.
