Description

Punk and Indie Rock Compendium: Left of the Dial is an app compiled by David Ensminger that highlights his interviews with seminal Punk and Indie rock bands spanning four decades, including Rob Younger (Radio Birdman), Channel 3, the Adolescents, Apples in Stereo, The Clean, the Waterboys, The Hives, and other key acts. Ensminger has produced fanzines since the mid-1980s and written for assorted academic and pop culture presses ranging from Postmodern Culture and the Journal of Popular Music Studies to Maximum RocknRoll, Trust, Houston Press, Popmatters, Artcore, and many others. This app offers 250 archives, including raw demo tracks, a rich trove of photos, letters, videos, fanzine interviews and album reviews. App Features: • High Resolution Images: View books, images and documents in high resolution. You can easily zoom in to see the smallest details. You may even see library marks within the books, just as you would if you held the book in real life. • Offline Bookshelf: Download the books for easy reading, anytime. All artifacts within this app are available only in English.
