MacDesktop,
the best USB camera

I tested many usb cameras. This is by far the best. It has the best picture, it cam mirror the image, it can be sized to full screen. Had no problems on 2 older Macs. And the best of all, it works even with my old iSight camera. And is free !!! I use it to cut my hair on my rear head ;-) Thank you - excellent developer !

Great for readable video but no images

I use this for a USB microscope and like how simple it is to inspect with it. No capability of just taking quick screenshots within the same app thought That feature would make it perfect.

Exactly what I was looking for

I was just curious to see what everyone else sees when they look at me…and its free, so even better!

Simple utility that allows for video streaming on Mac for the Flir C2 camera

Flirtools does not allow video streaming on the Mac for the C2 infrared camera. Fortunately this simple utility does. It also solves the problem of a reversed image that can be found with other software.

Nice to use if you don’t want to waste drive space on useless recordings

I downloaded this app to use with a borescope since PhotoBooth only flips single images, and it doesn’t offer a way to record video. Although this app doesn’t offer recording capabilities either, I find it useful for inspecting with the scope and not having to use-up drive space for irrelevant video records. Regardless, this app is a good tool for previewing or working live in an enclosed space. I found (much to my chagrin) that QuickTime does record video as the camera sees it and not horizontally flipped (sorry, I’m not a QT fan but whatever gets the job done on the cheap, right?). Nice work and I look forward to using this app under working conditions and not just on the test bench.

my second set of eyes

using to relay the image from the bullet camera that I use to inspect boards. Just what I need.

Great for the classroom

I do live hands-on camera demos in class and this really helps the the text reversal problem.
