Introducing a completely rebuilt, 4th revision of 3D mesh previewer for Apple Silicon macOS.
* 3D Model Viewer
The Preview tab now includes a full interactive 3D viewer powered by SceneKit. Open any supported mesh file and orbit, zoom, and pan directly inside the app — no separate Quick Look window needed.
* Recent Files
The Preview tab opens to a list of recently viewed models. One click to view, back button or Esc to return to the list.
* Drag & Drop
Drag any 3D file onto the Preview tab to open it instantly.
* Smarter Preview Cache
The app now shares its conversion cache with the Quick Look extension. Models already previewed in Finder load instantly in the viewer, and files converted in the app are immediately available to Quick Look — no duplicate work.
* Expanded Format Support
The Finder badge and context menu now correctly activate for all 40+ formats supported by Assimp, including LDR/MPD (LDraw), BVH, and many others that were previously missed.
* Bug Fixes
- Fixed a cache freshness bug that caused unchanged files to be re-converted on every preview
- Fixed stale Quick Look extension registrations that could cause previews to stop working after an update
