Description

QuickNome – Menu Bar Metronome QuickNome lives in your menu bar, always one click away. No windows to manage, no setup — just open it, set your tempo, and play. Tempo Control Set your BPM with the + and − buttons, drag the tempo display up or down, or use tap tempo to match any song in real time. Hold + or − to rapidly scroll through tempos. Shift-drag or shift-click to snap to the nearest 5 BPM. Arrow keys work too. Menu Bar Capsule A compact capsule in your menu bar shows your current tempo and play state at a glance. It pulses on every beat 1, inverts when playing, and shows a mute indicator when your volume is off — all without opening the panel. Time Signatures Switch between 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 beats per measure with a single tap. Beat dots animate in real time so you always know where you are in the bar. Recents & Quick Launch QuickNome remembers your last 5 tempos. Jump back to any of them instantly, or use CMD+1 through CMD+5 to switch tempos from anywhere. CMD+Option+1–5 sets the tempo and starts the metronome in one keystroke. Volume & Mute Adjust volume with the [ and] keys or the volume slider. Press M to mute and unmute without losing your volume setting. If you try to play while muted, QuickNome lets you know. Click Sounds & Sound Packs QuickNome now supports custom click sounds — including the Classic 1.1 sound, back by popular request. It's a sharp, penetrating tone that cuts through any mix or ambient room noise. Choose from four Sound Packs, each with a distinct feel for different playing contexts: Wood & Rim — organic woodblock and rim-style sounds with a natural, tactile feel Stage Clicks — modern synthetic, mix-ready clicks built for loud stage environments Analog Percussion — warm, characterful click tones with a little texture Studio Clicks — tight, polished studio-style clicks for tracking and production Each pack includes unique sounds for the downbeat and subdivision clicks. Preview any pack before purchasing. Bluetooth Speaker & Headphone Support QuickNome routes audio to external Bluetooth speakers and headphones. Practice with your AirPods, send the click to a Bluetooth monitor, or use any wireless audio device — QuickNome follows wherever your audio goes. Stage View Open Stage View from the menu bar for a large-format display designed for the stage. It shows your live tempo, current beat number, and click state in real time — big enough to read from across a room. Mount it on a second monitor or a laptop screen facing the performer. Stage View is powered by Ableton Link for rock-solid timing sync across your setup. Setlists & Songs Organize your tempos into setlists with named songs. Build out your set before a gig, jump to any song instantly during performance, and keep your tempo changes planned in advance — no more hunting through recents mid-show. Keyboard Shortcuts Space — Play / Pause T — Tap Tempo M — Mute / Unmute [/] — Volume down / up ↑ / ↓ — BPM up / down CMD+1–5 — Load recent tempo CMD+⌥+1–5 — Load recent tempo and start QuickNome is built for musicians, producers, teachers, and anyone who needs a reliable tempo reference without interrupting their workflow.

Version History

Latest: 1.3.2

We're aware that the update to macOS Tahoe introduced a window sizing issue that could cause QuickNome to crash when starting playback from the main play button. This update resolves that crash. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience while we worked through it.

Schlichtes Tool

Wiktionary-Alternative · 10 years ago · v1.1

Kein Tap, keine Einstellmöglichkeiten, keine weiteren Tools, schade! Dafür aber auch ohne Werbung und Schnickschnack.

pas tres simple

Mnezys · 10 years ago · v1.1

Probleme El Capitan

pr0de · 10 years ago · v1.1

Simples e eficiente

Igor vvv · 11 years ago · v1.1

Cumpre muito bem com a função. Muito satisfeito.

Tut, was es soll...

Uzmiov · 11 years ago · v1.1

Perfekt...

Einhorn Dogern · 11 years ago · v1.1
