QuickPOST4 is a handy reference to use with your P.O.S.T. Monitoring hardware card when troubleshooting a PC.
Use QuickPOST when On-Site with a customer, offline or just to access and reference your POST code quicker than having to walk away from the computer being diagnosed. Save Time and Money by getting the job done quicker.
POST codes can be seen as they are being generated by your BIOS with any P.O.S.T. Card hardware, including any of Ultra-Xs QuickPOST Series Product found at http://www.uxd.com
What is P.O.S.T. ?
Power On Self Test is a test sequence initiated and controlled by the system BIOS each time power is applied to the computer.
POST codes are output by the system BIOS during the Power On Self Test sequence. POST codes are typically output as hexadecimal numbers. These numbers (or codes) identify each of the various components and functions ( a circuit or group of circuits) that are tested after the system is powered up. If a computer fails to start, a POST code will be displayed for the pc technician to reference in order to resolve the issue.
