If sync wasnt one of the selling points of this app, itd be 5 stars. Unfortunately its one of their bullet points on the apps description, and works dismally. Ive used the app off and on for about a month now and had it sync successfully once. Ive emailed their support a couple of times, but have only received a reply once with instructions that did not work. My advice for the app creators: stop using whatever sync service youve been using (I suspect its iCloud Core Data) and use something else, because it is horribly broken.
Misery Loves Company
I am comforted by all the complaints - Im not alone. This has been my favorite app - been copying quotes for years and love that I have a place for them all. Then the Apple upgrade and trouble all over. Lost quotes,tags now in duplicate on phone (but not IPad?), cant figure out how to edit tags, and Phone/Pad not syncing. I really really REALLY hope Quotebook 3 can get this together

This app has one job and does it well. It is ridiculously useful. My best friend saw it on my phone and was all like "o-m-g gotta have that"
Sadly
I bought this app for two reasons, to collect quotes and to support an independent developer. I heard the dev interviewed on a podcast. Unfortunately the app isnt functioning. It freezes on launch most of the time and when it doesnt it freezes or suddenly quits within a few minutes of use. For the first time ever Im requesting a refund from Apple for a purchase.

Using as notebook
Im starting to use this app as a notebook for quotes and other information that I paste into it. The tagging feature helps locate and review the content. However, Im concerned that the app is not very stable, and most importantly, there should be a way to export the entire library of your quotes for safe keeping. Please keep working on developing this app. Its well designed, but not as stable as it could be.
Great Work
I recently purchased this application and nearly gave it a one star review. After putting on my detective hat I found that all of my troubles were primarily caused by iOS 8 iCloud bugs that were also harming many other app developers. I decided to put a hold on my use of the application and not review. Now that iOS 8.1.1 has been pushed out, I finally get to use this application. It is fantastic! I decided to come review this app because I figured the developer has probably taken a lot of flak for things out of their control. Sync is now working great for me. Id say others can purchase without hesitation. Disclaimer: I am currently on iCloud Drive. Your mileage my vary if you start using this app on the iOS 7 iCloud then make the transition to iCloud Drive with iOS 8
