Description

This application calculates the amount of internal radiation exposure when ingesting radio-active substance. Please use this application to confirm the exact amount of radiation exposure that occurred in your body system. Enter the form of radio-active substance (example: Iodine 131, Cesium 137,Plutonium, etc.), age of the person ingested, radiation amount in Becquerel, and tap “Calculate”. It will show the amount of radiation in sievert per kg. The estimation of amount of radiation exposure per year is indicated as reference. (This estimation does not apply to short term radiation exposure.) This application is in term of kg. The announcement of radiation amount may be in different unit but, the calculation formula can be applied to any unit.
