ProSoft RadioLinx Calculator is a free engineering tool that helps in planning your Wireless network.
Select from a list of ProSoft Technology radios, or enter the parameters for your own radios/hardware, then press the "Calculate" button. The ProSoft RadioLinx Calculator will return the theoretical link quality and other values.
RadioLinx Calculator has the following features:
*Calculates the theoretical link quality between two sites
*Extensive network glossary
*Database of ProSoft Technology RadioLinx radios and user-defineable radios
*Power converter for converting dBm to mW and mW to dBm

Q: Why do I need ProSoft Technologys RadioLinx Calculator?
A: If youre installing a wireless network and are unsure whether your selected hardware is adequate or not, then this app should prove to be a free, valuable tool. This app will calculate the theoretical RSSI (signal strength) between the two sites youve entered. From the returned data, you will know whether you need a stronger antenna or transmitter, higher antenna placement, etc.
Q: Is the RadioLinx Calculator the same as ProSoft Technologys free "ProSoft Wireless Designer" that is used on PCs?
