This new app, TalaSangati will accompany you faithfully and help you keep in line with the tala and tempo you have chosen. Its innovative hand gestures and metronome count for Karnatic talas and bol with metronome for Hindustani tals will ensure adherence to the avarthanam/ cycle, allow you to combine multiple cycles while you explore the raga you are playing to the fullest. All 35 talas of the Suladi Sapta Tāla system are available as well as eleven Hindustani tals. The apps are so simple that you don’t need a manual – and so we have not written one.
