Description
Real Violin is a software that simulate the violin playing on iPhone/iPod Touch.
Features:
-High performance real-time multi-track sound processing engine, high quality, low latency.
-44 KHz, 16 bit stereo sound output.
-Slide mode and Touch mode. With slide mode, you can play the "Real Violin" like a Real Violin; With touch mode, you can play the sound directly by tap the corresponding note, just like playing a keyboard.
-Acceleration(Pose) sense. With slide mode, you can select the string that you want to slide on by tilting the device, which make it more like a violin.
-Sliding along the string with the finger of your left hand to play unlimited smooth glide.
-Custom distance between the note marks.
-3 violin family instruments(Violin, Viola, Cello) in one!
-Up to one octave per string with Touch mode.

Non funziona
Great App
Its exactly what I was expecting from an iPhone Violyn. Improvements: It needs an inclination meter so you can tell how close you are from playing the next string. Ive been accidentally playing the wrong strings because of this issue. Also FYI colors from classical instruments dont look good on Iphones Try adding a different theme to it to make it more friendly to the digital world. I would suggest a smule ocarina look where the strings would be floating over black and have a simple animation in the background like that wave of sound.

I like that you have 3 instruments- very nice. And definitely an A+ on the quality of the samples. For the most part its intuitive to play but the accelerometer is a little hard to control in the slide mode- thats my main gripe. All in all this is MUCH more than I expected. Recording and export to wav soon I hope? And a metronome would be a nice feature to have.
Not a bad Start
Not a bad start - the touch mode is easy to use and I like the use of the accelometer to simulate playing the violin. Suggestions for improvement - better sounds (it seems to me the sounds are all synthetic, some sound reasonably authentic but others dont), volume control, a way to pluck the strings. Not there yet but has potential. The update adds some features, but this app still needs more to be really useful.
Okay
Im giving it 3 stars because the sound could be better. Also it should have a on/off switch for the accelorator and it should be able it play more notes at a time. But good start:)
Pretty Good
Definitely a great app. No complaints. A plucking option would be pretty awesome.
Not working with latest OS
App was great on the okd 3G, but does not work with newest iPhone software upgrade on 3GS.. Fix???
