Good samples

I could tell this app was good when it took longer to download than others. That means it has longer samples.

totally a waste of money!

I deleted this app immediately as it has a constant prominent beat of either 5 or 6, very few adjustments and I drum and chant to it.. sounded very electric... awful to listen to! I gave it one star .. if I could give it a negative 20 I would. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!

Slightly more interesting than iTablas drone, and nowhere near as complex as Shrutibox. It doest run in background (yet) and has just one tamboura at a time. Negates most advantage. Limited adjustment. An early update would be good

Excellent App where time-immemorial musical culture fuses with technology seamlessly. Its user friendly and is readily useable by laymen musicians, while having all the necessary features. Sound quality mimics a real thambura - if one hears from a neighboring room, you can easily mistake it for a 5 real instrument. The screen saver feature is thoughtful. I look forward to many more innovative features in the updates, and also great products from the developer.

Why arent all digital instruments this good?

This is a perfect Indian drone - sounds like it was recorded with the real deal, not just some electronic imitation. You can tune it to any key, and the sound quality is excellent. I wish I would have had this years ago, instead of the typical sound libraries you get with most audio programs.
