Description
Record my GPS position will store all relevant GPS position into a database when active. The stored positions in the database can later be extracted through iTunes or emailed in CSV/GPX format to process for different purposes with external programs.
The application supports recording positions in the background for devices supporting multitasking. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
The current version will request lower accuracy positioning from your device when running in the background to try to conserve battery life. Future versions of the program will allow precise configuration of the quality of the received signal in all situations.

Just what I needed
Great app for recording location. This is particularly useful because it gives a time stamp for each recorded point. For the future, I request data export as .txt or .csv so I can use the data for other work without passing through a mapping program.
