Description

Red Alarm is a power alarm clock for your Mac. Use the easy interface to create unlimited number of alarms. Quickly and easily create and customize alarms however you like. You can change the background from a choice of eight different colours. Red Alarm also works in the menu bar, which makes it fast to create custom alarms or alarms with 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes in the future. Red Alarm comes with 18 default alarm sounds and iTunes playlist integration. Sleep Mode You must use the "Go To Sleep" feature inside Red Alarm. Red Alarm will dim your screen and wake you up when your alarm arrives. Please ensure you have a power source connected to your Mac. If you are using Red Alarm on a MacBook, please leave the lid open. To put Red Alarm to sleep, use either of the following options. Option 1: - Click on the alarm icon located in the menu bar in the top right corner of your Mac to open a drop down menu. - In the drop down menu select "Go To Sleep". This will dim your screen and allow your Mac to fall asleep naturally. Option 2: - Press "Shift+Control+Eject" at the same time. On peut arranger ses alarmes comme on veut, en programmer plusieurs différentes, le fait davoir un choix de couleurs est sympathique, les sons proposés sont plutôt pas mal mais le mieux, cest quon peut se servir de ses propres morceaux iTunes. Très simple dutilisation ; on peut changer de sonnerie en deux coups de cuillère à pot. Le seul truc dommage cest que lordinateur doit obligatoirement être allumé (mais pour éviter quil reste allumé toute la nuit on peut juste programmer son démarrage une minute avant lheure à laquelle le réveil doit sonner). Vraiment bien donc !

Il ma fallu 5 tests avant que lapp fonctionne. Avant de lacheter sachez que non seulement lordinateur doit être allumé (dailleurs les laptops mac pour sallumer seuls doivent être branchés et avec lécran non fermés, bien entendu), mais il faut aussi que red alarm souvre au démarrage ainsi que itunes si vous souhaitez en utiliser une chançon. Seul point positif: si vous oubliez votre ordinateur avec le son au minimum lalarme sonne quand meme grace à son volume indépendant.

Leider ist das App nicht wirklich nutzbar, da es nur bei gänzlich eingeschaltetem Mac funktioniert. Es ist nicht in der Lage, (wie z.B. iTaf) den Alarm aus dem Ruhezustand auszulösen. Und da niemand die ganze Nacht seinen Mac laufen lässt, als Wecker gänzlich ungeeignet! Fehlkauf! Unuseable! The App is not able to start an alarm, when the Mac is asleep. And as nobody leaves his Mac switched on all night, it is totally not usable for its purpose!

I love this app. It wakes me up every morning to my iTunes music collection. I also use it during the day to remind me of things I have to do. The status bar menu is just perfect. Really easy to use and takes up zero desktop real estate. I would recommend this to any one :)

False advertising

The alarm is fine if you dont let your computer sleep. When the update said it would allow Red Alarm to wake my computer, I changed my settings to let it sleep and as a result missed my morning class. Rather upset with that.
