This app will not load any kiosk movies!
Not able to use points on the app.
The app works perfectly until I want to use my points to rent a movie. I’ve had 3000 points and the movie needs to use 1500 points... when I select use points and select the movie it tells me “ we are sorry you do not have enough points” Called customer service and they tell me that I cannot use my points because I am going to earn points with the rental.... but they cannot for the life of them tell me how to “not” earn points while using my points. I get a free code after being on the phone for 45 minutes with customer service only to run into the same problem 100 % of the time. Yes I can use my home computer but what’s the point of having the app and the options of using your points if it does not let you use them. What happens if I’m out driving and I feel like getting a redbox... do I need to drive back home log into my home computer and redeem my points? Everything else is absolutely great about the app... Common red box
Couldn’t redeem points
I tried to redeem some of my expiring points for a rental and it was telling me I didn’t have enough points (I had 1,875 points and a rental is 1,500). I was able to redeem just fine on the website though so this is just an app glitch that needs to be fixed.
Movie Reserve ??
I like being able to reserve the movies at the box it’s pretty easy to use. It would be nice if you could select a pick up radius versus looking at each location individually. Other wise beats standing at the box forever freezing in the winter.
Useless
The app doesn’t recognize where a Redbox is located and lists a location more than four miles away as redbox location but there’s no Redbox there. And when I try to use two different online codes to reserve a movie? It didn’t work. Uninstalling this app and saying goodbye to redbox.
Not a great app
For one thing, please rotate so I’m not looking at your app sideways on my iPad.
No Preferences / No Movies on My List
The Redbox a block from my house never has the movie I’m looking for, so I either burn gas driving to one that does, or I rent from Amazon. No brainer — Amazon’s getting my $$. I don’t have a gaming system, but there’s no preference for turning that off, and no way to escape game related messages/emails from Redbox.
