Description
By just taking photos of redwoods anywhere in the world, you can help Save the Redwoods League scientists learn in what climates redwoods can survive and track the redwood forests’ migration over time.
Join the Leagues new Redwood Watch project by finding a redwood tree in a park, in your own backyard, or in a botanical garden around the world. Use the free Redwood Watch iPhone application powered by iNaturalist or your own camera to take a photo of the tree and submit it online here.
We don’t yet know how climate change will impact the redwood forest, but when we understand where redwoods grow well today, we will be better able to predict where the redwood forests of tomorrow will thrive. Join Save the Redwoods League in protecting these forests today.
