Description

The PointSolutions polling app (formerly TurningPoint) allows you to use your web-enabled device to respond to questions in real time and self-paced modes. PointSolutions is proven to increase retention and engage learners while allowing instructors to collect data to ensure comprehension. A variety of subscription options are available. FEATURES & FUNCTIONS: • Questions and response options are displayed on your device when polling is opened so that you can answer in real time or at your own pace during self-paced assessments. • Screen displays group responses, user response and indicates correct answer when polling is closed • Multiple choice, multiple response, hotspot, numeric response, true/false and short answer, open-ended question types available • Respond to attendance prompts • View courses youre enrolled in and track grade data • Ability to send messages to communicate questions or concerns to the presenter • Navigate through self-paced assessments in various ways: swiping, navigation carousel, question list view NOTE: PointSolutions mobile is compatible with iOS 13 and above. Users participating in sessions with previous OS versions can participate using a web browser by visiting ttpoll.com. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Pretty awful

The only reason I got the app was because response ware is mandatory for my class. I paid $20 for the code and was told I could use my iPhone as a response device. The app is next to useless. It doesnt update often enough so by the time my professor closes polling the app just updated to show the question. The iPhone can only effectively respond by using the response ware website.

Responseware just became trash because now guests have to create an account then go to their email to verify. This is horrible. Please change it back to the original version where guests can bypass that part. It takes up waaayyy too much time.

Should not have to enter device ID every time

Its ridiculous that there is not an option to remember log in credentials and device ID. I reliably miss the first question in class because Im spending 5 minutes navigating the clunky interface to do something I shouldnt have to.

No need to buy a clicker for your classes. Just get the license and this free app, it works great.

It works great for my recitation classes. I encountered no problems so far.
