No ads. No logins. No add-ons. Where is the closest rest stop? Where is the next one in your direction? Or one with wifi or a RV dump? The only app that shows you directional access right on the map! Whats in this Rest Stops Plus app: Thousands of Welcome centers, turn outs, service plazas, scenic vistas and rest areas in the USA and Canada broken down by heading. A detail view lists each rest stops amenities like restrooms, picnic tables, vending machines, pet-friendly, RV dump, handicap accessible, security and even wi-fi. You can now filter the map to see only the amenities you want. You’ve had it happen; you’re on a route that you dont know like the back of your hand yet. You were unfamiliar with that part of the road, so you get out your heavy books and maps to plan your next stop or you can fiddle with your GPS unit which is loaded with stuff you dont want. But the economy is causing states to close and re-open rest areas all the time. This app tries to stay current with news and user reports but there will be mistakes. You can submit corrections from each point. Rest Stops Plus has a unique filtering system. Only heading northbound and dont want to see southbound rest stops that you cant use? Only want ones with a RV Dump or Wifi? You can filter Rest Areas and Turnouts by the direction you are heading or select amenities! The Rest Stops Plus data is stored on your phone, so calling upon a website for information is not necessary. This is great for improving speed when you’re in rural areas or otherwise out of range for decent service. It integrates nicely with maps to display points of interest. Don’t take even one more trip without Rest Stops Plus. Download this app now for a more comfortable travel stop experience every time you travel. No support for canada! Renders it useless for me, only wish this was clearly stated in the app description as I wouldnt have wasted my money. Please update or refund?!...

Found this in the "Great Canadian" App section in the App Store. I dont know why......there are no listings for Canada!

Canadians beware. This app is so thin on Canadian rest areas that it is not worth it. It is truly false advertising. I want my money back.

Useless for Canada

A total waste of money. Not even worth 1 cent if you are Canadian or travelling in western Canada. Only turnouts shown for BC, absolutely nothing across the prairie provinces. (Dont know about the rest of the country.) It has to improve one heck of a lot to be worth anything in Canada.

Use this app for travel from BC to AZ in fall and back again in spring. Find it great for planning route and rest stops including over night sleeps amongst the truckers. I am pulling a travel trailer, so easy off and on the hwy is great.

Shows many Canadian (and US) stops

Having just returned from an Ottawa <--> Cincinnati road trip, I was pleased to (belatedly) find this app that answers the rest-stop questions we had had on route - that neither my off-line nor my on-line navigation map answered - when is the next pee break? I cannot attest to its off-line abilities yet, but certainly this current version (4.2) has a good coverage of both Canadian in and American rest stops.
