I used to look up rhymes on a paper dictionary but now with rhyme time its so much faster to find what I need! Big plus for the offline mode.

Hidden Gem
I enjoy using this app... I just finished writing a song for my niece and it came so useful. I wish the text was a little larger but other than that I loved it!
For poets, NOT songwriters
Its great to have a hand held rhyming dictionary for when we write. However, this application is rather limited in this sense. As a songwriter, I care about the sonic experience of rhymes. I look at perfect rhymes to provide resolution and family rhymes to build up tension (as well as non rhyming and other techniques). Except for perfect rhymes (and there are some issues with these as well), the rhyming doesnt fit the art of songwriting. Half rhymes have nothing to do with the original word (they arent family rhymes, nor additive or subtractive rhymes) and the rhyming algorithm might great for written poetry (the rhyming fits the last consonant, not the vowel).

I often write songs and have found this app very useful. I normally don’t write reviews, but this is a very good rhyming dictionary.

When ever I access this app all I get is a screen says checking for updates and I never get past that screen.
