Rise allows you to graph your elevation over time. See how your elevation changes and obtain, through visual representation, your current altitude, total rise over time, low height and max height.
The accuracy of the application depends upon the accuracy of your devices GPS and, therefore, may change significantly overtime, even if your actual elevation hasnt changed. Therefore, Rise includes the accuracy of your current elevation and only records readings that are within a certain range.
To conserve your battery or to pause your recording, pause graphing. Further, when you wish, you can reset your current graph and begin a new session.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
