In recent years, numerous articles have been published concerning fire protection of special fire objects. Awareness building is important to protect them against fire, but no one describes how risk assessment of the building or area / neighborhood to be performed.
Risikoapp is an indexing tool that uses technology Multiple Attribute Decision Making, madmen. Through multiple choice questions rains app through to final factor (% of fire safety) through assessment of technical and organizational measures. The most famous example in
Norden on the use of this method is BSV-k (Brand Protection Svärd Ring - cultural costs) which was adopted in Visby, Sweden to identify vulnerable areas. Risikoappen works in a simpler way, where a single installation in a specific building stock is valued and judged up against the buildings actual conditions. One of the major benefits of this working methods, is that it does not require any deeper knowledge of fire protection, it is however recommended that the application is used by personnel in preventive or operativbrann- and rescue.
Risikoappsystemet is above all designed risk assessment of specific fire objects (§ 13 objects) in Norway, both in Small-and large scale. Oslo Fire and Rescue Department is working since 2015 to map their objects the city center with this system. Approximately 2,500 objects are so far been studied and cataloged according to this method.
