Description
Paris, the French capital city, is a global centre of art, culture, fashion, gastronomy, history and architecture.
Take a shopping trip down the Champs Élysées, admire the view from the Eiffel Tower or simply kick back and relax in a café.
Whatever you decide to do during your trip, youll want the convenience of maps on your iPhone but if you dont want to run up roaming data charges then this app is for you. With it a map of Paris is stored directly on your phone. Personalised markers allow you to annotate the map according to your needs and when you have access to data (hotel wi-fi for example) you can use iOS location search and store the results for offline use.
You neednt worry about separately downloading map data - its all taken care of within the app and yet it manages to use only 51 MB of storage. Better still, its free for basic use and a small extra charge allows you to see extra mapping detail.
The map data is sourced from OpenStreetMap. This is a freely editable map of the whole world and is more up-to-date and detailed than its competitors.
