Description

RohuGammon is backgammon optimized for the small screen. The board is scaled to maximize playing area. Checkers are over-sized for easy access, and the number of checkers on a point is displayed. Play against a friend, or against the computer. The computer has five separate AIs with different strategies. Some are aggressive attackers; others play defensively. You never know which strategy the computer is going to employ, so its nearly impossible to guess how the computer will play. To speed the game, you can enable auto-roll and disable undo, creating a fast-paced game. Play multi-game matches where scoring a gammon or backgammon can earn you more points. When the outcome of the game seems inevitable, hit "auto pilot" and let the computer finish the game for you.

Backgammon for beginners to experts

I am not a backgammon wiz but this game makes it very easy to quickly get back up to speed when I have not played for a while. The different levels are ideal for starting easy and moving up and the highlight hints are extremely helpful. Once you get to the higher levels, the game is extremely challenging. I highly recommend this version.

I love watching the game solve itself when I get stuck. No need to know the rules. The game makes it easy for novice players and challenging for experts.

I havent played backgammon in years, but this app made it easy to pick it up again. The single player mode is very challenging. And I like that it supports two players, just like a real backgammon board.

Just played my first match on this app at the hard level and it was good. I thought it was challenging enough and didnt feel like the dice rolls showed any favoritism. I dont really care for the style of board or the style of moving but those are cosmetic As long as the competition is good and I dont feel cheated against then it is a good product to me.
