Description
The original animated Compass Rose, now also available on Apple Watch.
Rosa Dei Venti HD shows the name and description of the wind indicated by the compass rose, including Levante, Libeccio, Scirocco, Tramontana, and the other traditional Mediterranean winds.
Point the top of your device towards the direction the wind is coming from: the compass rose will show its name. Tap the emblem to read its description.
Discover the characteristics and fascinating details of the most famous winds—the same winds traditionally recognized and described by old sea dogs and experienced sailors.
The app includes:
Animated and interactive compass rose
Compass functionality
Descriptions of the main winds
Beaufort scale and wind force information
Map of Italian maritime lighthouses
Compatibility with iPhone and iPad
Interactive compass rose and wind descriptions on Apple Watch
The lighthouse and Beaufort scale features are available on iPhone and iPad. Apple Watch provides the interactive compass rose and its wind descriptions.
Note: the app does not measure the wind directly. If the compass rose remains fixed on Tramontana (North), verify that location access is enabled for Rosa Dei Venti HD in your device settings.
